In my lessons I always make sure my students are not just learning music, but loving it!
I incorporate method books, classical and sacred repertoire, lead sheets, music theory and more into my lessons. I always encourage my students to pick out fun songs that they would love to play for family and friends.

I am a big believer that you can start at any age. I typically recommend that the child know the alphabet, be able to count/identify numbers, and is able to focus as much as possible.
